Report of the Board

Jill Weight appreciated the information the district has provided with for the Board, also mentioned MEF programs, PTA efforts; Kelly very excited about the bond and feels we have been well organized and prepared, she also mentioned Friends of Murray Committee, Community Council, and upcoming legislative session; Kami also pleased with bond efforts, noted that most elections are decided by those 55+, support has been good and is confident, football game attendance was largest seen in recent memory (stands were filled), has some feedback on study session she is seeking regarding scheduling/calendar; Elizabeth reported on city coordinating council, first time homebuying teachers can qualify for $30K credit through city, concert at Jr High tonight; Kelly added HS band also placed high in competition recently; Jaron appreciated bond efforts by everyone, fall USBA meeting was good new dynamic with different delegation we are part of, looking forward to candidates night next week.
