Murray Education Foundation is excited to announce three different ways families and businesses can participate in our annual Angels Among us Holiday Giving Campaign. Each year, we provide 125-150 students with a couple of holiday needs and wants to make December a little more merry for our underserved populations. Here’s how you can help:
Shake Shack: Hungry for some of Murray’s best burgers and fries? On Wednesday, November 13, Shake Shack in Murray (next to the Mall – 6123 S. State) is hosting a Donation Day. Simply grab lunch or dinner between 10:30 am and 10:00 pm that day, mention DONATECHICKEN with your order, and our friends at Shake Shack will donate 25% of the proceeds to the Angels Among Us Campaign. Regal Cinemas: How about a holiday movie with your family? Regal Cinema (in Taylorsville) is providing a special offer on bundled ticket prices. Simply go to this link, purchase a ticket bundle (two tickets) for $30 and Regal will donate 25% of the proceeds back to the Angels Among Us Campaign. Tickets can be used anytime during the holiday season and make great stocking stuffers and gifts for those of you looking for ideas. HERE’S THE LINK.
Angels Among Us Contributions: If you are not hungry or want to see a movie, you can always make a one-time electronic donation to the Angels Among us Campaign. Even small amounts, $5, $10, $20 make a difference. We appreciate the support and you can know your contribution is a great way to get a late 2024 tax write-off to our 501c3 organization. But wait, there’s possibly one more… If you work for a company that wants to participate, we’d love to talk with you. We have giving-tree opportunities for companies that want to support as little as 10 kids or as many as 50. We’ll set you up with individual ornaments showing confidential student needs and wants that allow you and your employees or customers to jump in on the giving season.
