Murray Board of Education (MBE) Member Kami Anderson has sought small ways to change lives in education for many years. Having started her service on the MBE in 2015, she served most recently as the Chair from 2018 to 2020.
Kami has been working for IHC as a Data Analyst since 2016 and holds a bachelor’s degree in math and statistics and a master’s degree in business administration – both from Utah State University. Prior to her current occupation, she worked as a stay-at-home mom to four children and she enjoys camping, skiing, the outdoors, and her family.
Growing up in a rural community, her parents instilled the value of education. Today, she loves the small-town feel and opportunities Murray provides. Kami’s education philosophy can be summed up in a quote by Shai Reshef:
“When you educate one person you can change a life, when you educate many you can change the world.”
