Murray Education Foundation (MEF) has opened nominations for its 22nd Annual Pinnacle Awards recognition, honoring outstanding MCSD educators, a classified employee, and a volunteer.
Nominations are being accepted through Friday, January 31, 2024 from anyone in the Murray community, including parents, students, Murray citizens, and district personnel.

Since 2004, the Murray community has been invited to nominate seven individuals for exceptional performance. These include:
- Five Outstanding Certified Educators: Teachers, counselors, psychologists, social workers, administrators, etc.
- One Classified Employee: Secretaries, aides, custodians, etc.
- One Volunteer
Nominations are sent to the Murray Education Foundation Executive Director who will convene a special selection committee to review nominations and select finalists. The winners are announced shortly after nominations close in February and a special gala in their honor is scheduled in March. Those selected receive public accolades, gifts, and tokens of recognition, including tributes from their students, team members, sponsors, and family.
