Registration is Just Around the Corner!

Current MCSD Students (K-12): Online registration for all returning students kicks off on Monday, July 28th. This online process is mandatory for everyone, even if your student attended last year. (Note: Kindergarten registration opened in March and will re-open on July 28th). If you prefer to register a returning student in person, please contact your school directly.

New MCSD Students: If your student has never been enrolled in the MCSD, online registration also begins Monday, July 28th. If your student previously attended an MCSD school, left the district, and is now returning, registration must be completed in person at the school during their designated registration day. New Student Registration Days (On-Site): Mark your calendars for in-person registration where new students must bring required documents (birth certificate, immunization records, two proofs of residency, and transcripts for high schoolers):

• August 6th:
  • MHS (New): 8:00 AM – Noon
  • Parkside, Viewmont, Grant, Longview (K-6): 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Liberty, McMillan (K-6): 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• August 7th:
  • Hillcrest & Riverview (New Jr. High): 8:30 AM – Noon & 1:00 – 3:00 PM
• August 11th-12th:
  • Horizon (K-6): 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Class Placement/Schedule Visibility (Grades 1-12): By August 8, 2025
• Kindergarten Class Placements: August 20, 5:00 PM (following assessments Aug. 18-20)
• ESL Parent Registration Assistance Night: August 5 (1:30-3:30 PM & 4:00-7:00 PM at Hillcrest Jr. High)

Open House / Back to School Nights:

• August 13th: Riverview (5:00-6:00 PM), Hillcrest (5:00-6:00 PM), Liberty (6:00-7:30 PM)

First Day of School!

• August 15, 2025: Grade 7 Starts
• August 18, 2025: Grades 1-6, 8-12 Start
• August 21, 2025: Kindergarten Starts
