July 28 Registration Opens

Even if your student attended Murray City School District last year, all students must re-register for the 2025-2026 school year. Good news – online registration officially opened on Monday, July 28th! This digital process is quick and convenient. You can find the link to register your student on our district website.

For new students to the district, or for those who prefer in-person support, registration assistance will also be available at each of our schools. Specific dates and times are detailed in our comprehensive Launch Guide, available on the district website.

Dedicated Support & Important Resources

We are once again offering our ESL Registration Assistance Night at Hillcrest Jr. High School on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, with sessions from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This event is specifically designed to provide language barrier support for families registering their students. School administrators will also be on hand to assist with other vital resources. Beyond the Cafeteria: Free/Reduced Meal Applications

As you register, please take a moment to complete the Free/Reduced School Lunch Program Application. This application is about more than just ensuring your child receives a free or reduced-price meal; it can unlock access to additional valuable resources for your family and student(s). Furthermore, new Utah laws are in effect this year, waiving the fee for those qualified for reduced lunch fees.

Mark Your Calendars: First Days Back!

Get ready to welcome our students back on these key dates:

• Friday, August 15, 2025: First Day for 7th Grade Students
• Monday, August 18, 2025: First Day for K-6th and 8th-12th Grade Students
• Thursday, August 21, 2025: First Day for Kindergarten Students (following individual testing days)

Health & Wellness Reminders

Don’t forget to schedule any necessary immunizations, physicals, and dental visits for your student(s) soon. Healthcare provider schedules tend to fill up quickly as the school year approaches!

School Events & Back-to-School Nights

In addition to district-wide registration, each school will host its own in-person registration opportunities and special Back-to-School Night events. These are fantastic opportunities to meet teachers, see classrooms, and connect with your school community.
