The deadline for nominations for the 23^rd Annual Pinnacle Awards is Friday, January 23. This is a huge way to express appreciation for Murray’s teachers, staff, administrators, and volunteers. Murray educators are making magic and defying gravity each day with our most valuable and vulnerable students.

The Pinnacle Awards represent the highest honor in MCSD, celebrating those who go above and beyond—or as our theme suggests, who go unlimited—for our students every day.

Star-Studded Gala

This year's celebration promises to be the most dazzling event yet, culminating at a spectacular Gala (on March 5) inspired by the hit Broadway show Wicked! Our theme, "Together We're Unlimited," embodies the spirit of collaboration, dedication, and the boundless potential created when our community supports education.

Who Can Be Your Next Pinnacle Award Winner?

Since 2004, the Murray community has championed exceptional performance. This year, we are proud to introduce a renewed focus on school leadership. We are seeking nominations across the following categories:

• Certified Educators (We Honor 5 Teachers, Counselors, Psychologies, Social Workers, etc.
• Classified Employee (We Honor 1 Secretary, Aide, Custodian, nutrition worker, etc.)
• Volunteer (We Honor 1 District Volunteer)
• New This Year: Administrator (We Honor 1 Principal, Assistant Principal, or District Director)

The Road to the Gala

Nominations are reviewed by an anonymous MEF selection committee. Winners will be announced on February 4 and celebrated at the most dazzling event of the year: The Pinnacle Awards Gala: "Together We're Unlimited" Date: Wednesday, March 5, 2026; Location: Murray High School. Winners receive public accolades, special gifts, and heartfelt tributes from their students, colleagues, and sponsors. It’s the highest honor in MCSD!
