The Murray City School District Board of Education is considering the closure of Liberty Elementary and changes to school attendance boundaries that may affect your student’s school assignment beginning with the 2027-2028 school year.

No final decision has been made. The Board is seeking public input before taking action on the proposed school closure and boundary changes on December 10, 2026.

Parents, employees, and community members are invited to attend and provide public comment.

Additional opportunities for public comment will be available at the regularly scheduled Board of Education meetings on October 15, 2026, and November 12, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
